OKLAHOMA MASTER LOCKSMITH ASSN.

MEMEBERSHIP MEETING—AUGUST 20, 2005

 

Mike McGrew, President, called the meeting to order at 5:40 pm.  The Pledge of Allegiance and Invocation were recited.

 

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

Neither Mike nor Harry Sher had any unfinished business.

Bonnie Sher presented the minutes.  Harry made the motion for approval seconded by Sam Ebersole.  Motion passed.

Loretta Loomis presented the Treasurer’s report.  Harry made the motion for approval seconded by Frank Bellizzi and passed by the membership.

Matt Kelm, Jerry Casey, Frank Bellizzi, Gary Frame and Jim Loomis all indicated they had no unfinished business.

Lowell Roberts (on Jackie’s behalf) announced that the current Board had agreed to serve again unless someone else volunteered.

 

NEW BUSINESS

Mike extended thanks to Lowell Roberts for an excellent class.

Harry had no new business.

Bonnie presented the two applicants to the membership: Michael Brant Watson and Walter E Ringer.  Both were accepted and sworn in by Mike McGrew.

Loretta Loomis asked that the bills be paid.  Motion to accept made by Jim Graves, seconded by Harry and passed.

Neither Matt nor Jerry Casey had any new business. 

Scott Hancock has stepped down as Education Director due to job conflicts.

Leon Garner was the Weekend Education Winner

Bob Hughes reminded us that OPLA Distributor Show would be Sept 24th & 25th.

 

Lowell brought us up to date on the licensing issues.  Frank thanked Lowell and Charles Hudacek for their hard work on representing the locksmiths on this issue and to Lowell again for the class.

Jerry Casey made a motion for adjournment, second by Sam Ebersole and passed.  Meeting adjourned at 6:15.

 

Next meeting  will be November 19th at the Crowne Plaza in Oklahoma City.
