MEMBERSHIP MEETING
CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL—MAY 7, 2005
Mike McGrew, President, called the meeting to order.
OLD BUSINESS
Mike McGrew said that the phone number for Matt Shue, Enforcement Officer for Alarms in
Mike also asked if there was interest in having a swap meet in August and if we had a volunteer to run it. John Ruperd volunteered.
Harry Sher discussed that the last Trade Show made a profit and that we already have vendors and payments for the next one. He said today’s class went well with fifteen members.
Bonnie Sher asked that the minutes be approved. Motion by Jim Loomis, second by John Ruperd. Passed
Mike asked that Loretta Loomis’s financial report be approved. Jim Loomis made the motion, second by Frank Bellizzi, passed.
Matt Kelm told us that he and John Ruperd are almost finished transferring the education tapes to DVD.
Mike McGrew talked about the newsletter and continues to ask for someone to take it over.
For Scott Hancock, Harry announced that he would teach Advanced Safe Manipulation in November. Next May, Harry will teach a two-day course on IC Core, small format on Saturday and Large Format on Sunday. They will be all day classes.
NEW BUSINESS
Bonnie Sher introduced Fred Linnabary, prospective member and James Jackson, seeking reinstatement to the membership. Motion to accept was made by Frank Bellizzi, seconded by Lowell Roberts, passed.
Mike asked that we pay the bills. Motion by Frank Bellizzi, second by Lowell Roberts, passed.
Education winner was John Ruperd.
There were seven door prizes won.
The next meeting will be at the Holiday Inn Select in Tulsa
