Mike notified the membership of Charles Hudecek's family illnesses. We will need everyones help with the education programs until Charles is able to fullfill his chairmanship duties. Also, our new member, Sam Ebersole, will be having knee surgery Feb. 19. We need to keep these men and all our members in our daily prayers.

NEW BUSINESS

Harry Sher stated that our next trade show would be in Tulsa, Ok. February 2003, at the Holiday Inn Select. We already have some of the booth space contracts signed and paid for.

All members need to talk to their own vendors and invite them to participate in our next 2003 trade show. Nelda introduced a prospective pending member, Mr. Richard Hall. Mr. Hall introduced himself to the membership and explained his profession in the fire and safety industry. Mr. Hall is taking locksmith classes with the Foley-Belsaw institute at this time.

Johnny Stewart reminded everyone of all the great video tapes available in our library. Mike McGrew mentioned sending out extra flyers for notifications of our future upcoming events. Everyone needs to stay in touch with our newsletter editor, Paula Sands, so she can keep all our information updated. Tommy Minick asked about upcoming classes for May 2002, and these were discussed by Mike. Jerry Casey suggested that we do our August swap meeting in the evening and our business meeting in the early afternoon. Lelia McNickle made the motion to change these times, and motion was 2nd'd by Jackie Roberts. Our August membership meeting will be at 5:30 p.m or about 30 minutes after our last class has ended. Jerry Casey and Jerry McNickle discussed that our association cover partial expenses for some of our more expensive classes for our members who want to attend. The quality of our classes and using local instructors was also discussed. Odie Tresner thanked everyone for attending this weekends meeting. GOOD OF THE ORDER

Harry Sher mentioned an item he had found. The item was possibly lost by one of our distributors. Frank Bellizzi mentioned that he needed to purchase a transponder detector to help him with a future class he will be teaching. Lelia McNickle reminded everyone to thank all our distributors for the items they donated to our association. Pat Gray has been ill and will be facing chemotherapy soon. We also need to remember Sam Ebersole and Charles Hudecek in our prayers. Janis Reves told us all of the Ozark Associational meeting in Eureka Springs on March 9 & 10 at the convention center.

Mike asked for someone to volunteer to do the chairmanship of our August 17 swap meeting. This will be done by Richard Holtzschue and Harry Sher in Okla. City, at the Saddleback Inn.

Our next membership meeting will be May 4th, and will begin 30 minutes after out last scheduled activity.
