GOOD OF THE ORDER:

It was discussed with members present that we consider raising our exhibitor booth rates.

Several questions were raised. Should this be taken completely out of our by-laws? Do we want to change the costs, and if so, how much? Harry Sher reminded us that if changes were made, they could not go into effect until 2005, as 2004 contracts had already been signed. John Reed, exhibitor discussed rates, and discussed how costs varied with other associations.

Hotel costs, expenses, the cost of lunches, and different cost negotiations were also discussed as a determining factor in the cost of booth space.

A.B. Parker thanked Paula Sands for her wonderful work as our newsletter editor for the Locktalk publication. John Reed mentioned other upcoming associational meetings. The Nebraska Association, Eureka Springs, MINK, and Marysville were announced.

Jerry McNickle asked that we all keep Frank Taft and his son Greg in our prayers.

Those companies donating door prizes for this weekend were: Hans Johnsen Co., Clark & Shuck Inc., Cornerstone Mktg., Clark Security, H & L Simon Co., E.L. Rinehardt, A.L.O.A., Abus Inc., H.L. All winners and members should contact all our participating exhibitors to thank them for donating the doors prizes and for their support in our association. Thank You Mr/Mrs. Exhibitor.

C.D. Lipscomb thanked everyone for coming to see him at the A.L.O.A. booth. Mr. Lipscomb said, "The Oklahoma association has a healthy size membership attendance for the size of our state. Larger states have less members present at their meetings."
