MEMBERSHIP MEETING
President Mike McGrew called the meeting to order at
Mike presented a sample newsletter that will soon be ready to print. He told us of the work on the website which is nearly up to date as well. Jackie Roberts requested that past presidents be a feature of the newsletter that Mike had not planned to use at this time. Mike also thanked Jackie for picking up the flags from Matt Kelm who was working and unable to attend today.
Bonnie Sher presented the minutes. They were accepted after a motion by Sam Ebersole and a second by Nelda Minick. She also reminded the members that she had a copy of the roster that she was requesting each member to check and correct/edit as needed and give email addresses. She also reminded member that 2005 dues could be paid at this time.
Loretta Loomis provided the financial report. Motion to approve was made by Sam Ebersole and seconded by Frank Bellizzi and approved by the members.
Mike said they had a good class on Basic Electronics and there was good participation by all.
Frank indicated that we needed to vote on the Eastern Director according to the bylaws. Ballots were passed and Jim Loomis was voted in as the Eastern Director.
Bonnie introduced Mike Kerby to the membership. He will be an apprentice member for six months and then become a full member. Mike swore him in before the membership.
Loretta requested we pay the bills. A motion was made by Sam Ebersole and
seconded by
Mike reminded us of the Trade Show in Feb. Ron Bada won the Education Weekend drawing.
Door prizes provided by Jim and Loretta Loomis, Mike McGrew and Lowell Roberts were won by Dusty Brummitt, Nelda Minick, Loretta Loomis, Leon Garner, Mike Kerby and Jason Hook.
Frank offered thanks for the officers, teachers and other staff.
