UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Mike announced that Gov Henry had signed the locksmith licensing and it will go into effect,
Harry reported on the first day of class.
Dave Wofford gave a new email for OMLA, omla-Editor@cox.net. There was some discussion about newsletter options by Leila McNickle.
Harry congratulated Mike on the clean up of the website
John Ruperd announced that he will be picking up the last of the converted tapes to CD.
NEW BUSINESS
Mike explained new rule #12 allowing for the creation of training committees for the licensing project. He also mentioned that he was nominating Clint Parsons for Life Member and that the vote would be in November as per the Bylaws.
Harry had no new business.
Bonnie presented the applicants: Eric Jamison, Chris Slaton, Philip Scott Thomas and James Lester Owen. All were voted in.
Matt would like a forum on the website where members can ask questions of each other.
Leila McNickle won the weekend education.
John Ruperd will chair the swap meet in August.
GOOD OF THE ORDER
Lowell, Charles and Clint discussed the locksmith law.
Door prizes provided by IDN Acme were won by Johnny & Regina Stewart and others.
