Meeting of the Alarm & Locksmith Advisory Committee
The meeting was called to order at
Next the Committee approved the minutes from last months meeting.
Then the Committee moved on to review of new applications for license.
There were five companies listed on the list:
Transamerican Fire Sprinkler LLC
Prestige Business Solutions, Inc.
Cherokee Fire Protection Professionals.
A&H Security, Inc.
Alarm Professional Services, LP
All were reviewed by the committee. And all were approved for licenses.
The committee moved on to;
Discussion & possible action concerning changes to the Alarm & Locksmith Industry Regulations.
There was no discussion.
The committee moved next to new Issues & old Issues. And there was no discussion on either one.
The committee moved to public discussion.
One person asked the question?
How much money has the State taken in from fines and penalties?
But no one could give a amount at that time.
Another person asked about being able to check company’s or person’s record on line?
Matt Schue answered that, that yes you can. It’s mainly general at this point but they were working on it to make it capable by company or individual.
There was a short discussion on this then the committee moved for adjournment.
They gave the date for the next meeting of Jan. 7/09 in the same location room 806 at the Health Dept.
