Oklahoma Alarm & Locksmith Advisory Board Meeting for Oct. 07, 2009.

10/07/2009 Oklahoma City, Oklahoma  Health Department , room #806.

Rick Brown called the meeting to order at 9:05 am.

Rick asked for approval of Minutes of the Sept. meeting, and they were approved.

The board moved right into the Review of company applications.

There were 13 companies to be reviewed.

There were 3 locksmith companies approved for licensure:

Robin Frieze dba Custom Communications

Locksmith, Nurse call, CCTV, Access control

Ferguson Security Solutions

Locksmith, CCTV, Access Control

Certified Life Safety, LLC  (Kansas)

(Conoco Phillips  only)

Locksmith, Nurse Call, CCTV, Access Control, Commercial Fire Sprinkler, Commercial Fire Alarm

The rest of the companies were for Alarms, Fire ,  CCTV , And Access Control only.

All companies were approved.

The board moved into new Issues , there were none.

Then to old Issues.

Drake McDonald brought the issue of having a Company Manager and a local office for out of State Companies

doing business here in Oklahoma, and having the Manager located within a certain distance of the job site.

There has been considerable discussion on this issue.

The board then moved to Discussion from General Public. There was nothing.

Then Rick called for Adjournment.

 The next meeting will be on Nov. 4, 2009
